Built for those seeking to delve into the art of slow pitch jigging, the Daiwa Harrier Slow Pitch Jigging Rods are designed for maximum jig control and are loads of fun to fish. Built on a thin diameter blank to achieve the optimal action for controlling slow pitch jigs, the Harrier Slow Pitch is deceptively powerful with impressive fish stopping power despite its size and softer action. The blank is built with Daiwa's High Volume Fiber (HVF) Nonoplus Carbon, which contains a higher concentration of carbon fibers, resulting in a rod that is lighter, more rigid, and more sensitive. Also outfitted with Daiwa's X45 Technology, these rods are designed using a 45 degree bias construction that prevents ovalization and twisting of the blank for greater hoop strength under heavy loads. With the use of these technologies, the blank is able to remain thin and lightweight while achieving very high strength. Fitted with Fuji FazLite K-Guides, these rods are virtually tangle free while the guides leave the action of the rod uninterrupted. All models feature minimalistic EVA split grips that are ideal for slow pitch jigging by keeping the rods action true all the way through to the butt end.
