My story
Daisy is a 3 year old, vaccinated and spayed female. She is semi okay with her toe beans being handled, she becomes slightly stiff but shakes it off rather quickly. She enjoys playing with toys and will share them with you. She could live with cats or dogs. When tested, she showed interest in greeting another dog but she then became very avoidant and just tolerated their presence. Kids will need to be 14-16 years and older. Daisy has shown intense interest in her food. She will need to be fed completely separated from any other animal. She has shown aggression with wet and dry food so we are not sure how this will translate with human food or chews/bones. Here in the shelter environment, it is shown most prominently while she is in her kennel (where she lives, sleeps, etc). Outside of the kennel, she has a fun and crazy side to her where she enjoys running and playing with staff. Any potential applicants will need to really understand that this behavior could get worse once in a home. She was signed off by the previous owner and it was stated that it occurred in that home too. Anyone interested will need to make an appointment with our manager/assistant manager to visit.
If you have any questions or would like to adopt Daisy, please reach out to the adoption group directly. PetSmart Charities does not facilitate the adoption process. Thank you.
