My story
Daisy is a 2-3 year old Border Collie/Pyrenees/x weighing about 50lbs.Daisy was surrendered to a shelter in New Mexico incredibly pregnant and terrifified. The shelter knew having her babies there was not safe so they reached out to us to take her. A wonderful foster here in CO quickly stepped up to help her. a week after arriving in CO she gave birth to 13 puppies. Unfortunately 9 of the pups survived longer than a week. The ones that have survived have now found their forever homes and it's officially Momma Daisy's turn to find her forever family.Daisy's fosters actually fell deeply in love with her and decided they wanted to adopt her. She played so well with their Lab and was honestly the biggest sniggle bug and loving dog ever. Unfortunately her foster also has a small Pug who it seems Daisy thinks of as prey. While the fosters love her so much they know it would be best for her to find another home without smaller dogs, or dogs at all, and without cats. Daisy is potty trained, social, does well on a leash, and listens great. She is smart and it's really hard to put into words how loving she is. She loves to play with toys and watch movies with her fosters. She does okay being left alone and is a good dog. If you are interested in adding sweet Daisy to your forever family, please fill out our adoption application at brighterdaysdogrescue.com##1265955##
If you have any questions or would like to adopt Daisy, please reach out to the adoption group directly. PetSmart Charities does not facilitate the adoption process. Thank you.
