　　Meet Raquel! This sweet little bundle of energy came to us a while back after she was picked up as a stray. At the time, she was 'with puppies' so she's been in a long term foster care awaiting their birth and then nursing them until just recently. Raquel was a wonderful mom and took very special care of all three babies but now, it's finally all about HER and we are excited to help her find her forever home! Raquel is very playful with other dogs but she's also completely content to snuggle with you on the couch. She really wants to 'play' with the cat but the cat isn't willing so Raquel is mainly content with chasing her around the house (the cat is also very excited at the prospect of Raquel finding her 'forever' home). All in all, this sweet girl would make a wonderful addition to any household and could easily fit into most any situation. Raquel is an adorable female Dachshund mix and is approximately 1 year and 3 months old (Aug. 2013). She is a small dog and weighs about 11 pounds.
