　　My name is DUCHESS and I am a 28 pound Dachshund / Hound mix and am around 2.5 years old (Aug. 2012). I was dumped in my foster?s yard back in January along with 2 of my babies. It took me about 2 months before I finally let my foster parents give me any love or attention. They could tell by the way that I acted I had a hard life before now. After a while, I decided I liked to be inside of their house. My fosters were so proud of me! I am great with dogs of all sizes, but I am not the biggest kitty cat fan. I am very playful and have finally warmed up to car rides. I am not quite house or crate trained, but I am working on it! Hey, we can?t all be perfect! I do have one real talent- when I hear sirens I can mimic them with my awesome howls! In case you didn?t notice I have gorgeous eyes and a beautiful black coat. I can still be timid at times, but I have come a far way! I give really good kisses and would love to be your new best friend.
