D4TE is the thickest of all FE Truck blocks, was the first original Truck Block for 428 block, this D4TE can be taken out to 4"170 thousands which is .040 over 428 standard bore, anymore they can run warm. This block needs to be boiled and bored, starting from 4" .050 , needing .020 ? .030 thousands to clean it up for 390 or 410 (believe .030 is the first cut), (pistons available) .040-.060 even works better.
