Meet Cyrus!
This adorable 8lb Pomeranian Mix was found as a stray in Philadelphia and is estimated to be around 10 years old.
Cyrus was such a scared and timid dog when we first received him from the shelter, but after some time in his foster home, he has revealed such a wonderful personality!
He loves to cuddle, follow you around, and even likes to play with toys!
Cyrus is blind and has very bad cataracts, but he can hear very well and is very smart.
He learned his name and his way around his foster home in just three days!
Cyrus has a wonderful appetite and is very well behaved at meal time.
After getting him a checkup at our vet, it was revealed that Cyrus does need daily heart medication due to a significant heart murmur.
He takes his medicine just fine at meal time.
Cyrus also has some arthritis in his lower spine which makes him a little weak in his back legs, but that does not impair his mobility and he gets around just fine.
Cyrus is very well house-trained.
He is also accustomed to using pee-pads when his foster family is at work and he is alone for longer periods of time.
Cyrus has a very big personality, he will bark at the sound of a doorbell or in the morning when he is ready for breakfast.
He listens very well when called by name or told No.
Cyrus is the whole package and cute as they come.
He gets along so well with other dogs and doesnt mind cats at all!
He deserves the best chance at a wonderful forever home!
