Cute American Budgies/Rare Parakeets (come with Care...
Oct 17, 2024
Description

We are selling young beautiful American Budgies/Rare Parakeets for 35 dollars each. Proof to us ownership of a BIG cage suitable for parakeets and you can get the birds for $10 each. Our birds will leave our house with a care packet (starter kit) which includes:

  - New book or magazine on budgies (your pick)

  - Small container with high quality parakeet food

  - Small amount of Crushed Oyster Shell

  - One Cuttlebone with holder

  - One big Golden Millet Spray with holder to train your new pet

Our budgies have been raised indoors with lots of love and human interaction eating only the freshest organic veggies from the San Francisco Canyon Market so please don't stuck them now (during wintertime) into an outdoor aviary - they would most likely not make it.

  Please note:

  ------------

Unless your household currently already includes a parakeet we require that you take a minimum of two pet birds due to the highly social nature of parakeets.

For more info/images email or text (415) .

Have a great day and thanks for looking! :)

PS: In the wild, parakeets love to fly so for your parakeet to be happy it needs to have enough room in its bird cage. The bigger its cage the better. A minimum size bird cage for a pair of parakeets is 20 x 20 x 20 [inches]. Parakeets like to climb as well as fly, so they need both vertical and horizontal space. Many pet stores sell "Parakeet Kits" which contain cages way too small for even one Parakeet. If you have more than 2 Parakeets, then make it 24 x 24 x 24 [inches] for three, and 28 x 28 x 28 [inches] for four.

Try to get a cage that the bar spacing should be no bigger than 1/4 or the Parakeet might get his head stuck and strangle himself.

Try to have a cage that's more wider than taller; birds like to fly forward not up and they get more room to move around and won't use the bottom if it's too tall. Try to have cages that have the horizontal bars as Parakeets love to climb and horizontal bars are easier and more comfortable to climb.
