My story

　　Meet Cubby!If you are looking for the dog who loves everything and everyone then Cubby is the little guy for you!

　　At only 11 months old he is a delightful mix of Pug and Maltese.

　　He is non-shedding with a beautiful reddish/golden coat that will need to be groomed every month.

　　He was adopted as a puppy by a family who probably should not have had a dog.

　　They spent little time with him, did not have a yard, so he spent much time alone in an apartment.

　　He was not housebroken upon entering rescue or neutered but has since been neutered and is getting potty training as well.

　　The first time he realized that his foster Mom had a great big yard he bounded around into it like a kid at Christmas morning.

　　He adores all the sights and smells and sounds of the outdoors.He is in rescue with many dogs and cats and feels everyone should be a potential playmate.

　　He is the type

　　of dog you could take anywhere with you because he just wags his tail and dances for everyone.

　　He would be fine as an only dog, as long as he goes on walks or has playmates or with other pets in the home.

　　He loves kids as well.His adoption fee includes:1.

If you do not currently have a pet how you will keep Cubby socialized with other dogsSome notes to consider before applying for Cubby:1..Cubby is a very affectionate and playful dog and would really need someone he can spend alot of time with.2. Please make sure you are ready to adopt before coming to see our adoptable dogs. We are a foster based rescue and do not have the space to hold dogs for a couple of weeks while you vacation or make your way to California to come and adopt. We will adopt out of state but ONLY if the potential adopter comes here to adopt in person and that is after a screening by Skype. WE DO NOT SHIP DOGS EVER. 3. We are often inundated with emails about our adoptable dogs and try as we might to make everyone happy it is nearly impossible with only one dog and sometimes up to 50 potential families. The more information you provide in your email to us the quicker we will get back to you. If you have written to us before about a particular dog and did not receive a response please do try again. We try to answer every email but it is not always possible. Every dog has different home requirements that we search for so sometimes you are the right fit for the dog we are trying to place. 4. PLEASE do NOT send more than one email.
