Crew's story

　　Crew This is 'Crew', an absolutely precious young shepherd mix with special needs but tremendous potential. This handsome young boy was turned in by his owners, who were apparently not his original family. The individual who turned him in stated that 'He seems to have been abused and has a hard time socializing. He's stayed under my bed and refused to come out until we're asleep.' Crew is probably around 6-8 months of age and is very timid and frightened. However, he followed me rather closely around in the yard and would come to be petted and loved when I held out my hand and called to him. Crew is a shepherd mix with handsome black/brown/white coloring, fearful but sweet eyes, and erect ears. His owner also stated that Crew is 'fine with cats, scared of children'. Crew is frightened and very timid, but he has shown no signs of fear aggression. This precious young soul needs a calm and loving environment and a new family who will treat him with extreme patience and kindness, and who will give him gentle love and reassurance that he needs to overcome his fears. There is no stray hold on Crew, so he is anxious to meet his new forever family. The rewards to be gained by adopting this sweet boy will far outweigh any perceived negatives if he is loved, cherished, reassured, and trained as he should be.
