I have (2) Craftsman riding lawnmowers: ($400 for both)

　　$150 Riding Lawnmower has a new battery, new starter, 2 tires are flat, the deck needs a weld or we held it up with bailing wire as a temp fix, this mower was running good and then did not start, after installing the new starter, it doesn't look like the gear on the starter is going up far enough to engage the engine gear. This may be due to improper install?? The motor will turn by hand.
