Cowboy's story
Cowboy is an 8-9 week old collie mix, weighing about 7-8lbs. We believe he will be about 30-40lbs when full grown.
Cowboy was dumped at a rural shelter in Texas. The shelter he was brought to has almost no foot traffic, and they are lucky if they even adopt out one dog a week. We knew we could find Cowboy a wonderful home here in CO.
Cowboy has now been in foster care in CO and is ready to find his forever home! He gets along great with other dogs and people. He is just one of those happy pups that loves to greet other people, give kisses, snuggle, and play. He is already learning how to play fetch and seems to be incredibly smart for his young age. His foster Momma says he even helps her with his homework ;)
We would love for Cowboy to find a family that has lots of time to spend with a puppy and will treat him like a true family member. He loves to snuggle on the couch with his foster Momma and be next to her whenever possible, but he is okay being alone too. He would do great in a home with another dog or a family/individual who wants an adventure buddy. He would also do well with kids as long as they are old enough to respond the boundaries of a little puppy.
