My story

　　Linus is a 6-year-old husky mix. Linus is a mellow gentlemen who loves his people! He gets along well with other dogs but does best with a walk to meet them first. He is not very fond of the dog park. He is very food motivated and mostly just likes curling up and sleeping on the couch. Linus is absolutely WONDERFUL with people, no issues whatsoever. He has a great smile, loyal personality and loves to have his head scratched.Linus has lupus. The lupus is completely under controlhe takes a supplement and antibiotic in the morning and at night, and other than the pink spot on his nose, you would never know he has anything wrong. It's not contagious either.Poor ol' man also has extreme separation anxiety. He would do best with someone that works at home, or that is home often. He gets upset and cries but is very excited when you return home! Some of the things that would make for an ideal living situation:No catsSomeone who works from home, is retired or can spend a lot of time at home.He has always lived in homes with other dogs so that he can have a buddy. I recommend the dogs meeting off leash, one-on-one beforehand.No dog park or events with a lot of other dogs, he doesn't like the over stimulation. Linus has bad joints and isn't able to go on long hikes, but enjoys small adventures. Someone who is patient and won't mind him being on their heels as they walk throughout their house.
