My story
Hello everyone. Im trying to rehome my sweet pup and Im based in Fort Collins. I got Baldwin in Richmond, VA almost three years ago. He was a street dog, and has a few scars on his face, but doesn't appear to have any negative activators from that time of his life (besides eating super quickly!). He's a super sweet and handsome pup, and loves playing with squeaky toys. I like to call him "the most comfortable dog in the world" because he's good at getting COMFY wherever he's at. He is smart, and he needs mental stimulation along with exercise. He tends to either be wanting attention and playing from people, or napping in another room. He can be cuddly from time to time, and is very sweet. He is fixed, microchipped, and totally up to date on shots, having just had a physical and rabies + bordatella shots on 1/9/18. He is house trained, neutered, knows basic commands, and is very photogenic. I am rehoming him for a few reasons: 1) Him and my other dog seem to bring out the worst in each other, and Baldwin is far more independent than his brother AKA wouldn't be harmed by leaving me, 2) He cries a lot when I'm around, and I have not had the time or bandwidth to work on this behavior. I am a grad student with some mental health stuff, so it was especially difficult during these last two semesters. 3) I have had a lot of trouble finding places in Fort Collins that accept two dogs without costing an arm and a leg, and I'm hoping folks who are already in the situation of being able to take a second dog will be interested. I would prefer to rehome him to a family that already has another dog for him to play with. I would like a $150 rehoming fee, just to make sure interested parties are serious. He comes with a bag of food, a crate and crate pad, some toys, and a small portrait drawn of him by a friend of mine.
