We bought this sofa 6 years ago, brand name new from Value City in Lansing. It's well-loved and for the in 2012 has been in a home with a dog (and he too - enjoyed the sofa!) The back pillows are removed. The 2 bottom cushions/front-panel fabric are a bit beaded/fuzzy from daily use, the razor blade technique to get it off DOES work, but would take time. Not best condition, however still great for a starter, pet friendly home, or basement/rec room!
