Corgi - Speckles - Small - Young - Female - Dog

　　Speckles is a rotten demander of butt rubs and ear scratches. She loves being with people, and would be content to be nuzzled for hours. She does have a good bit of energy and would be a great companion for a brisk walk or two each day, but she has short legs, so won't need to cover great distances at high speed. She likes children and doesn't dislike other dogs, although she is not fond of them getting fresh with her, she will stand up for herself, so it would be best if she is with easygoing dogs. If she could be an only dog and the center of attention, that would be just fine with her as well! She is very smart and eager to please. An owner that will work with her on accepting "no" as the answer to jumping up and demanding attention would be good and she would appreciate a structured life. She has been staying in volunteer homes from time to time and appears to be house trained. She is very good about spending time in her crate when necessary. Speckles is available at the City of Mobile Animal Shelter. She is HW negative, up to date on shots, microchipped and spayed. Adoption fee applies.
