My story
All of our dogs are housed in private homes, we do not have a store or a shelter. We do not show dogs to interested parties until they have an approved adoption application. If you are interested in adopting one of our dogs, please fill out an adoption application on our website You may also find us on facebook: Helping Shepherds of Every Color Rescue. Im Cooper. I was surrendered to a shelter in north Alabama because I had heartworm disease. I was a favorite at the shelter and they wanted to make sure I was properly cared for so they tried to get me into a rescue. The shelter tested me with other dogs and cats and I did very well. I like everyone. Im only 3 or 4 years old and weigh about 70 pounds. Im a perfect weight. Im a beautiful German shepherd with dark coloration. Im crate trained an d house trained. They say I need work on the leash, but I just get excited and want to GO. I have an itchy place on my back. My foster mom gave me a bath and every day she sprays stuff on my back. Its annoying but a small price to pay for dinner. I love to eat. Eating is my favorite thing, but I also love spending time with people. I have already started heartworm pre-treatment which is 30 days of medicine. I like to visit the vet. Thats strange, but I just like attention of any kind. The only trick I know is sit, but Im really smart and could be taught most anything. I love to chase the ball, over and over and over. If I had a human job I would be a store greeter. Im a friendly guy. I will be available for adoption by mid to late October. My adoption fee is $250. I am neutered, up to date on shots, current on flea prevention, and microchipped.
