Hi!
My name is Cookie.
I'm a friendly young dalmatian cattledog mix female, less than a year old, who ended up in the Chowchilla Police Dept. shelter, through no fault of my own.
Because space is limited for dogs at that shelter, and I'm such a happy friendly girl, staff contacted Dalmatian Rescue of Southern California, Inc. to see if they could help get me out of there.
Seeing my big smile, Rescue agreed to take me.
I am now living in a kennel in Newport Beach with a group of dogs, playing non-stop and learning some manners.
I am friendly and active, great with other dogs and with people.
I could use some manners, but I am smart and eager to learn.
I am walking on leash daily so I am learning my leash manners.
I am spayed, vaccinated and will be microchipped before I leave for my forever home.
I am a busy girl so I would be happiest
in an active home, preferably with another dog or someone home to keep me company and out of mischief.
I am loving all the playtime I'm getting now but I sure do miss having a home and a family to love.
Couldn't you open your home and your heart to a friendly young girl like me?
