My story

　　Puppy Connor is 15 weeks old (approx. DOB 12-24-22), male, 22+ lbs., initial vetting done, not neutered (too young-must be done by Adopter/s per adoption agreement). Connor is a sweet puppy that would love a family to call his own! He loves to play outside, loves affection and belly scratches, and loves to get up in the morning and do it all over again! We love that his birthday is Christmas Eve! Connor is a puppy that will require everything a baby puppy needs (frequent potty breaks, potty training, basic training, socialization, and lots of love). We do not know what breed he is. An Adopter can have a DNA test done if preferred but we do not do DNA tests.* Stay tuned for more information as Connor is a new rescue!

　　Breed labels are often incorrect: we rarely know the genetic lineage of the dogs we rescue.  Many shelters and rescues specify breeds based on appearance; however, research has shown that less than 2% of a dog’s DNA determines appearance!  

　　Passion 4 Paws does not practice the use of labels pertaining to compatibility with others or dog breed.  Labels such as “dog friendly” and “child friendly” should be used with caution as they often over-simplify the personalities and behavior of dogs.
