This Conn Director Shooting Star trumpet is a vintage student model trumpet. It’s valve design has individual springs, like euphonium or tuba pistons. This instrument seems to be overhauled at some point with nearly all of the lacquer intact except for a contact point on the 3rd valve slide. The instrument is great for someone who loves to collect vintage instruments, or just loves to play! It’s got a nice bright sound, and has a nice ring when released.
