For your consideration is a very nice Conn trombone produced during the 1940’s in Elkhart Indiana.
This is an estate find and had been stored away in the original case for many years.
This piece seems to be used less than normal and still has quite a bright, generally clean finish to the metal.
Come with a silver Conn 3A mouthpiece as shown.
I also have the original hard case (previously mentioned) which is included.
There are only a few areas of tarnish.
The metal is all very straight.
There is one area where it looks as though there may be a small indentation.
It is where the handle mounts to the cone of the horn.
It is shown here in detail and may be a normal manufacturing byproduct.
I’m not sure so I will leave this up to those with more knowledge than me. Please examine all of the photos for a good visual description.
Feel free to ask any questions.
Thanks for looking!
