Up for sale is a vintage Conn 38H Ballroom Model professional jazz trombone. The serial # is 240X66 which would put it at 1927. Please check out the pictures and the page from the Conn Catalog about the 38H.  The bell is 7 inches and bore is .485.  The tuning is in the slide to allow the bell section to be conical instead of cylindrical, which produces a richer sound. It is in very good condition and has a slide lock. The slide and the tuning mechanism on the slide work well. There is a dent on the end of the slide near the water key.  It does not affect the slide movement. Good compression on the slide.
