All HSWA dogs are either at our Dog Adoption Facility or in foster homes. All dogs require an appointment to meet.

　　This good looking fellow is Conga, a 1 1/2-year-old male Boxer/Labrador mix. He has a unique looking smooth black brindle coat with a white chest.

　　He has the body of a lab and the head/muzzle of a boxer.

　　Conga is a big boy, weighing 43 pounds and needs another 10 pounds put on his frame.

　　Conga was pulled from our local animal shelter where he had been picked up as a stray by Animal Control.

　　Poor Conga was down there for almost 4 months so it was time to get him out of there!

　　Conga is a very friendly, social dog who loves to be with you.

　　He is playful and would make a great walking/jogging partner.

　　Yet he has a pretty calm demeanor and is just so eager to please you.

　　He seems to get along well with other animals.

　　In fact, he was used to test new dog's behavior at the shelter because he was so congenial.

　　Conga would do better in a house with a fenced-in yard so he can run and play but he is not to be an outside dog only.

　　He should be fine with children 8 and older, not younger due to his size.

　　We have started on his crate training. Conga is up to date on his vet care, neutered, heartworm negative and is microchipped.

　　He is on heartworm and flea/tick prevention.

　　This fine dog is ready to be in his forever home - we hope it will be yours!
