　　Information provided to Annie's Orphans: Meet Dassah, a beautiful, spayed, female collie mix who is about four years old and looking for that special home. She is in great health, very alert and intelligent, knows commands such as sit, stay and lay down. She is a very quiet dog, but will warn her human if someone drives up or knocks at the door. She is wary of strangers, other animals, unfamiliar places and loud noises, so a quiet home with one or two quiet homebodies and no children or other animals would be the best environment for her. Her current owner has numerous medical issues and can't care for her as she deserves to be cared for. Also, there are other animals in the house that Dassah does not like and does not get along with, so they must stay separated. She absolutely loves to fetch sticks and balls and play with laser lights after dark. She will wear herself to a frazzle chasing them as she has a strong herding and chasing instinct! Her current owner wishes she could still play these games with her but, sadly, she cannot. At home Dassah is content to lay by her chosen human; yes, she chooses you, not the other way around. :) She asks for very little and is happy with an occasional treat, a pat on the head and a few kind words. When you ask her if she wants to go outside, she will dance for you on her hind legs and has never had an accident in the house! She will also let you know when her food or water bowls get low.
