CO/Bodie's story

　　Special Boy Seeking a Special Human

　　Hello world! My name is Bodie Vincent and Im a pretty laid-back dude! Im a 6 year old liver and white Brittany, and they say, liver-and-white-is-always right! Im medium sized, have a head of wavy brown hair, and a full tail with a relaxed attitude.

　　My former life was NOT good! When NBRAN found me, I had been in the shelter for quite some time. I had been hit by a car, adopted out (nobody came for me), and then returned after a few short days. They said my manners and social skills were not perfect. Whats a guy to do when hes had no human love and doesnt have someone to teach him? They didnt realize what I was looking for! I want someone to call my own, someone that likes my tie-dyed collar and the laid back songs of the Grateful Dead.

　　I like to chill on Saturday nights by lying on the couch (or on my orthopedic bed). Nothings better than sleeping in on Sundays and hanging ten anywhere with my human. I do have a bum leg from that car accident (see medical note), but it doesnt stop me. It just means I take life at a slower pace.

　　Although, I get along with cats and dogs that have really good manners, Id prefer it be just ME and MY human. Right now, I want to be the one and only.. you know.. the apple of your eye. But, if I must have a sibling, I would like a calm sister, that won't get in my face. My favorite part of the day is breakfast and dinner. I literally jump up and down in anticipation. Its most groovy! This is when I take my supplements for my leg. A safe fenced yard, easy daily walks, good music and companionship are all Im asking for. I want a person that will accept me as I am, bum leg and kind of socially awkward. If you are looking for a sweet, chill, boy, then please fill out an application, because I'm your guy!

　　Bodie is neutered, healthy, UTD on all vaccinations, heart worm negative (on preventative), and micro chipped. His adoption fee of $350 will offset his vetting and allow NBRAN to rescue more of these wonderful family members.

　　Please complete the on-line application under the Adopt section on our website. He is eligible for our canine railroad and can be transported up to 1400 miles from Colorado at no additional charge. The adopter will be required to drive the last leg of the trip.

　　Once the application has been completed, you will be contacted by your state coordinator. A phone interview, home visit, and vet check will be required as part of the approval process.

　　MEDICAL NOTE: Bodie will need to be on a very affordable collagen peptide as well as cosequin and fish oil for the remainder of his life.
