My story
Meet Clover, a 10 lb. bundle of love and playfulness. Clover came to us as a stray, and her foster parents don't understand why her family didn't come forward to get her at the shelter since she is such a sweet little girl. We think she is part Jack Russel Terrier and part Chihuahua. She bounces up and down to get her foster parent's attention and can jump into their arms and then she give lots of kisses all over their faces; although can get a little carried away with her excitement and nip a nose or a lip so she wouldn't be a good fit for small children. Her foster parents are working on this with her. As wild as she can be when her foster mom gets home from work or she meets a new person, she settles quickly and then wants to be held, petted, and loved. Even when she's outside she is happiest sitting in her foster mom's arms and taking in the sights, sounds, and smells. She is crate trained and sleeps in her crate at night but likes sleeping on the bed and snuggling with her people. Clover gets along with other dogs and wants to play with them. (currently lives with three dogs) She is almost potty trained but still needs some work on letting her foster parents know when she needs to go out.
Clover was just going into heat when we brought her into our program so her spay won't take place until November; other than that, she is a very healthy girl and is up-to-date on her vaccines.
If you have any questions or would like to adopt Clover, please reach out to the adoption group directly. PetSmart Charities does not facilitate the adoption process. Thank you.
