My story
Cleo came to AFOJ in April underweight, shy and nervous of loud sounds, hands and men. After a week or two of settling down, Cleo has become very comfortable and quite the love bug. She enjoys switching off between lounging in her dog bed and playing nonstop with her foster brother Sampson (a 90 pound shepherd/lab mix). With practice, she has been working on not being so scared when meeting other dogs and humans and is getting more used to the outside world, men included! Cleo loves to go on walks and is working on her jumpiness when an unexpected disruption happens. She is an expert at Sit, Down, Wait, and Shake, and is currently working on Touch. While she’ll prefer to sleep RIGHT next to you, she is crate trained and potty trained. Cleo still has her younger dog energy so would do well with an active family as well as another dog!
