Clay's story

　　My name is Clay and I am a 15 lb. Shih Tzu mix. I enjoy playing with stuffed toys, walking on a leash anywhere you would like to go and enjoy being off leash in a dog park or fenced backyard. I do tend to start playing rough and like to protect my toys the longer you play with me. Once my excitement calms, I am ready to play again peacefully. I like riding in a vehicle, enjoy food, treats, belly rubs and will cuddle and sleep with you on the couch or in bed. I do want to be the alpha dog and will need to be the only dog in my new home or with other submissive dogs.

　　My adopter must be local to the Huntsville area. I was HW positive until my friends at FOR had me treated. They tell me I will need to be tested again in 6 months to make sure I am HW negative. FOR will pay for another treatment if required.

　　I am UTD on shots and doing well on my house training. I am neutered and microchipped and on Heartworm prevention. I will not do well in a home with kids under 10 years of age. Apply at /dog-application
