This tub has actually been in use in an old residence and is still in rather good shape. There are a few small nicks and rust spots however it still maintains it's manufacturing facility porcelain surface; significantly less delicate than the surfaces used when you have a tub "refinished".

　　There are still many years of welcoming service left in this piece of the past, the patina obtained over the decades is not very detracting. Of course, it would make a statement as a water trough and even a planter however, it still makes an attractive, super-comfortable tub for bathing. Repainting the outside should be straight forward enough if "Stars and Stripes" are not your thing.
