This is truly a classic mountain bike. The end of an era. The late 90s M2 frame technology. The M2 stood for Metal Matrix. It was the epitome of Specialized aluminum frame technology and geometry. This example comes with another classic, the Fox Float 80 suspension fork. The late 90s had frame geometry configured to work perfectly with an 80mm travel fork and the Fox was one of the best of the mid travel forks. This bike also features Deore XT hubs with Mavic rims. It has 9sp Rapidfire shifters, Avid V-brakes, Race Face crank. New Maxxis Jackrabbit tires. It currently has Velo Orange pullback bars. I have it set up with a Dimension stem riser. It comes with two stems and a set of mountain bike riser bars as well.It is perfectly tuned and configured to be a very capable "one" bike that can do multiple things. Plus it is a true classic, one of the best examples of how bikes use to be...I can deliver to Reno, Vegas, Boise, and SLC for gas money. I can also take it to LBS for packing and I will ship it at buyers expense.
