My story

　　s a chihuahua and terrier mix. I

　　m about 4 years old. I don

　　t remember which kill shelter I came from, but I think it was around Bakersfield. When ended up at a Shelter, my family didn

　　t come for me, but the nice people at Wags and Whiskers rescued me. I

　　ve been with them for about a year. It

　　s really hard to find a home if you have a black coat. People just judge me by my looks and don

　　t realize all the positive attributes that I have, if I do say so, myself. First of all, I love to ride in cars and go on adventures, which would be easy for you to take me on, because I walk well on a leash. I really enjoy play dates with other dogs my size and cats are ok too, in my book. Even though I don

　　t read books, I heard that

　　s a popular saying. I just realized as I looked at my photo, I look more like a Terchi, terrier/chi. So whether you prefer Chiter or Terchi as my breed, both breeds, made up, by the way, I

　　m a great dog in a 7.5 pound package. September 8 will be my 1 year anniversary of being at the rescue. Even though they exercise, feed, clean and give me free medical care, I
