This is an interesting book with 50 years of photo history of Civil Engineering, 1. This book teems with civil engineering fetes from all over the world. It was written by Mike Crimes in 1991. He is/was the Librarian at the Institution of Civil Engineers. The foreward was written by Professor Roy Severn, President of the Institution of Civil Engineers. It was first released in the U.K. The hardback book consists of 181 pages of images and text and illustrations in white and black. The book is readily available and I will erase the ad when it's offered.
