Cisco's story

　　Cisco: 8 years old, blue & rust, neutered male, docked tail & cropped ears, 15" 20 lbs. Shots up-to-date, micro-chipped. Owner surrender.

　　Cisco is a bigger and a little older Blue Mini Pin gentleman who is still full of love and life with clear bright intelligent eyes that are always taking things in and absorbing what is going on around him.

　　Cisco's long-time family suffered some unfortunate circumstances and had to leave California. They were unable to take him with them, so they gave him to friends. The friends took care of him for as long as they could, but needed to find a permanent home for him so Cisco was surrendered to IMPS.

　　Cisco is a blue and rust Mini Pinscher and is absolutely beautiful. He does not show his age, although he does have a couple of cosmetic flaws. He has a fatty tumor that was biopsied by a vet, is current on all of his vaccinations, Heartworm Negative, and had a teeth cleaning. He does get skin infections, and when he does, he will need to be shampooed with a special shampoo. He'll need to be an inside dog since he has a very short, soft coat that is on the sparser side, so he tends to get cold easily and will likely sun burn if outside in the sun too long during the hot summer months.

　　In addition to being amazingly beautiful, he is just the sweetest, gentlest, and cuddliest guy. He came into his new foster home self-assured and behaved like a total gentleman. There was not a single issue and he acted like he'd lived here forever. Cisco has not had a single accident inside the house, but he does need to be let out from time to time since he doesn't like using the dog door, but he will if he has to.

　　While Cisco is loving and likes to cuddle, he is very independent so is not "clingy". He's content to find a chair or couch with a blanket to lay on and one to wrap himself up into as long as he knows where his humans are. He does not like being where he can't see or hear you. Cisco is crate trained, but being where he can come and check on you is his preference. He's fine with other dogs, large and small but is not a cat friendly fella.

　　Having a little older dog is wonderful! They are done with the crazies so they are not destructive and have calmed down from their puppy and adolescent years. While they still have plenty of life and energy left, they tend to be much calmer, giving you the best of both worlds.

　　This little man may be 8 years old, but you'd never know it. He is full of energy and runs or struts around exploring and loving his life. Now he just needs a stable, forever home where he can be the center of his human's world, and where they can be the center of his
