This is an amazing brass field marching snare drum in excellent condition for it's age considering it's well over 100 years old and the use it's had over that time.

　　It has fancy detailed scroll work painted wooden rims that are painted red on the inside on the top and bottom, really setting it off and adding great old color to the drum. It has solid tension brass mechanisms which are complete. The snare is made of fibrous twisted gut string and looks to be original in great condition as well as the calf hide top and bottom drum heads that are still tight and in excellent condition making this a useable, playable drum.
