Meet Cinnamon! Cinnamon is a sweet Shepard mix, who was born June of 2018. A natural explorer and adventurer, she can be somewhat cat-like in personality. She loves to cuddle and love, but can also be very independent, taking it upon herself to meet and greet new people, explore new areas, investigate new smells, and make new doggie friends. She loves a good game of chase and tug with the house dog, she enjoys wrestling hard with other dogs her size. She listens very well and is very easy to train. She has already learned to sit for treats and wait at the door and curbs so as not to just run out. She is very food motivated, always knows where the treats are, and tries to sneak extra food out of the bag while her meals are being prepared. She has had few accidents in the house and is almost entirely potty trained. She also has great crate manners, although a little more hesitant to go in for an afternoon nap time (she wants to stay out and play). Once she is in there with her sister, both of them sleep all through nap time and all through the evening without a peep. She is a happy-go-lucky fun loving dog who would do great in a house with another dog, or with people that are active, go to dog parks, or otherwise take her new places. Her foster mom believes she is the kind that runs towards her fears instead of away from them, showing courage and natural intrigue - and perhaps some signs of a good protective dog. This fat little fluffy girl will be a true gem when she is older. Cinnamons adoption fee is $300. A refundable training deposit of $100 will be also due upon adoption. Training must be provided in a timely fashion to ensure our pups become the best canine citizens. The training deposit will be refundable within 3 months of the adoption date for pups 4 months and older.
All Second Chance Dog Rescue dogs are spayed/neutered, are up to date on vaccines and have microchips prior to adoption. Adoption fees vary depending on age of dog. Fees help Second Chance Dog Rescue cover spay/neuter costs, vaccinations, medical treatments, food and supplies. Please go to and complete an application today! All dogs live in private foster homes until they are adopted.
