Cinder's story

　　Meet Cinder a 1 yo spayed female terrier mix. She weights between 16-18 lbs. She has a super outgoing personality with people she knows but she is selective of who she lets into her circle. She is very smart and has a very alpha personality. She will be the boss if you dont establish boundaries and rules with her and regularly enforce them. This girl loves to play all day long. Her batteries never wear out. She requires daily walks, runs and/or hikes along with mental stimulation in the form of games. She is sporty too so maybe agility or flyball could be introduced to her. She is potty trained (she will ring a bell to let you know she needs to go out), kennel trained, rides in the car nicely, and she is good on the leash. She knows basic commands, sit, down, stay and she will also close cabinet doors and drawers on command. She is a lot of fun to work with and she will make you laugh with her silly antics. Her exuberant energy and her alpha personality make her unsuitable for a family with small children. She would be best in a home with older teenage kids and a home that is active and inclusive with their dogs along with a decent size yard. She will require a family that is willing to continue training with her to establish and maintain rules and boundaries along with continuing the progress she has already made. She gets along with most dogs, but she would be best with a submissive playful friend. She is not to be trusted with small animals or cats. She is a wonderful companion who will give 110% to her people. She just needs a family that will understand her and continue to work with her.
