My story
01/05/22 Chucky Cheese was surrendered to the shelter due to the previous owner being unable to care for their dogs any longer. According to the previous owner, Chucky is used to spending most of his time in a yard and would come inside and stay in a crate at night. The previous owner also stated that Chucky is outgoing, friendly, affectionate and will jump up on people and generally does not mind very well. He is said to not ride well in vehicles and should be crated for car rides. Chucky is dominant towards other dogs and would prefer to be the top dog in his new home, as he was in his previous home. Introductions should be done carefully in a controlled environment. He would do best in a home with other submissive dogs. Chucky does mark quite a bit and will need a patient family that is willing to work on this behavior issue with him. It is unknown how Chucky does with children, but he is said to do well with strangers. Alaskan huskies generally have a high prey drive and like to chase smaller critters such as cats and small animals. Please use caution when he is around them. Chucky is looking for an active home where he can get ample amounts of exercise and training! If Chucky sounds like the dog for you, please give the shelter a call to make an appointment to meet him.
If you have any questions or would like to adopt CHUCKY CHEESE, please reach out to the adoption group directly. PetSmart Charities does not facilitate the adoption process. Thank you.
