Chuck is a very sweet but also very shy 5ish year old Heeler mix. It's taking him a while to decompress from shelter life, but now he's learning to trust people and relax. He's a bit reactive to things that surprise him and will sometimes bark, but he's generally quiet. He loves cuddles when we're sitting down somewhere, and he's also starting to loosen up while we're out in the yard and enjoy himself instead of worrying that he'll be locked out. I suspect that he spent several years as an outside only / yard dog, however he is house trained. He gets along well with the other dogs in his foster home and so far hasn't paid much attention to the cats.
