My story
Chopper is a 2-year-old male Shepherd mix who has already been neutered. He came to PAHS as a stray and he was never claimed by his owner. Chopper's medium length coat is black with brown markings. He currently weighs 42 pounds so he is considered to be a medium sized adult dog. This handsome fellow is quite active and playful. We know he would appreciate a nice fenced yard where he could safely exercise. Chopper would be good with older children. We don't recommend he be in a home with younger children due to his activity level. Chopper would enjoy life best with an active family who would take up lots of time with him and include him in their outdoor adventures. He would be fine with other dogs in his new family. Chopper is ready to go home with some lucky adopter. Come meet him soon! ****Please note that when introducing a new dog into a home with children and other pets adult supervision is strongly recommended until the new dog settles in with the family.****Dog/puppy adoption fees are $120 and cat/kitten adoption fees are $50. Our adoption fees cover a microchip, microchip registration, discounted spay/neuter certificate, deworming, vaccinations (as age and law requires), and a courtesy vet exam at participating offices. Unless otherwise indicated under 'special needs' our dogs have screened heart worm negative.
