My story
Say hello to Chloe! This beautiful senior gal was brought to a shelter when her person went into hospice care. She was very scared at the shelter and was so happy to be in a foster home. She is a delightful girl, although she can be timid upon first meeting someone. If she is very scared, she will try to nip, but she has loved her foster parents from the very first day and has not done that with them at all. Once she knows you are ok though, she will be your best friend! She loves to give kisses and is very affectionate once she warms up. She loves to do cute twirling dances when she is happy. She seems to really like men. We don't believe she was socialized much in her former home so new people and situations make her nervous, so a quiet, peaceful home with no young kids is required. We believe she would do fine with gentle dogs her size, but she is not a fan of pushy alpha-type dogs. She does shed, so she is not a purebred Chinese Crested but we don't know what she is mixed with. For a 13 year old, she is quite energetic, although she loves nothing more than hanging out on the couch cushions or sleeping in bed with you. Chloe deserves to live in the lap of luxury for the rest of her life. She is a special little girl! (Chloe is being fostered in New England)
