  Chloe's story

You can fill out an adoption application online on our official website.

Hello, my name is Chloe and it's so nice to meet you! I came to Lost Our Home when I was just 3 weeks old. I was being sold out of a basket - at 3 weeks old! Can you imagine? Luckily, I went home to a really nice foster home where I was raised until I was old enough for adoption. Now let me tell you a little bit about myself!

My foster mom likes to refer to me as her wild child because I am just a bundle of playful energy! I absolutely love to play with my toys, zoom through my tunnels, chase the laser light, and wrestle around with my foster brothers. If you see those orange kitties in my photos, those are my foster brothers! They've raised me since day one. They've shown me how wonderful having brothers is, so much so that I've decided I absolutely need to go to a home with another kitten or a playful adult. My foster brothers and I are always wrestling, chasing each other, and at the end of it all we snuggle up and go to sleep together. I also have a dog foster brother, but we just kind of co-exist together (at his request).

When you pet me, you've never heard such a big purr come from such a little lady! Sometimes all you have to do is look at me to get my purr going. When I'm all tired out from having so much fun, I'll snuggle up with you on a fuzzy blanket or at the top of my cat tree to bask in the sunshine. I'm not too big on being held, but I love to be pet! What can I say? I'm a free girl, I like to be able to zoom around to my heart's content!

Something special about me is that I'm FIV positive. That stands for feline immunodeficiency virus - basically it just means that my immune system is a little weaker than the average kitty. FIV is only contagious through deep bite wounds (and I would never do that!), so I can safely live with other cats as long as we all get along (and I love everyone!). My foster mom says that I'm still a very happy and healthy girl with a long life ahead of me! I deserve the same amount of love as any old FIV negative kitty. There is also a possibility that it's a false positive, but we won't know that for sure until I'm at least 6 months old.

Anyways, I've been going on for awhile, I just want to make sure I'm showing everyone just why they should take me home! As cute and fun of a girl as I am, you won't want to miss out on me! Email or give the nice ladies at Lost Our Home a call if you're interested in taking me home!
