Chihuahua - Vinny "update From Foster Home" - Small - Adult

I was rescued out of a horrible situation where 50 dogs were not being taken care of properly. There was no dog food - we were being fed crackers, pork rinds and cheese popcorn and that's not "pup corn". I had to fight for my every meal. I need a new, clean loving home where I will receive the care I need for a long, happy life. I have been in a foster home since July 4th. I have really enjoyed being a part of a family. It did take me about 4 days to realize I don't like kids. I don't hurt them but do run and bark and nip at them when they walk by. I am ok with the cats and other dogs. Even though I am small I enjoy eating the big dog kibble. I like to sleep in the bed with you through the night. If you are not into that, I am just as happy to sleep in my comfy doggy bed or crate. I am crate trained. I DON'T hike my leg on things in the house. I like to play with toys. I am great for car rides. I come when I am called by name. I must say, I am a great little dog. estimated 4 years old/heartworm pos/on treatment/10# ADOPTION FEE: 100 ABOUT OUR PETS: All of our pets available for adoption have been spayed/neutered, tested for heartworms, given age-appropriate vaccinations, microchipped and are on flea & heartworm preventative medication. Screening and approval by our Adoption Coordinators and a home visit may be required to make sure this pet fits into your home and the home fits our pet.
