　　This handsome gent with black fur and speckles of brindle and gray is looking to warm the lap and the heart of anyone willing to accept his special needs. Sammy is a senior chi that loves squeaky plush toys, a good roll in the dirt, bathing in the sun, and chilling in his crate (also referred to as the spa). He is mostly potty trained and does best on a schedule, will sleep through the night in either a human bed or his crate. He enjoys the company of a younger lady chi at his foster home but would best be suited for a single dog lifestyle. Sammy has some joint deformities that require pain management via supplements and medications. Since he's only 7lbs, the meds are inexpensive and the supplements are the kind that many of us humans could benefit from (joint support and fish oil). Well managed pain means this potentially crotchety old man, runs around with his squeaky toys like a spry teenager, which is guaranteed to bring a smile to your face every morning! Oh and it also means that play time with humans and squeaky toys is all the exercise this gent needs. This funny, cuddly, nice guy's only real shortcoming is that he can be food aggressive with new humans and all animals but his foster is a dog trainer that will volunteer the time needed to change the behavior.
