Chihuahua - Petunia - Small - Adult - Female - Dog
Petunia, one of the "Three Amigas" that ended up in the Coronado Animal Care Facility on the same day, is a 6 year old female Chihuahua weighing approximately 11 pounds. This shy girl was found loose on Adella Avenue by a volunteer who rescued her even though she was spooked and dodging traffic, bringing her safely to the Facility. Petunia has a heart as big as they come and is a favorite with those who walk her daily. She has settled in just fine in her new surroundings and gets along great with her other canine "Amigos". Petunia is reserved with a cautious and gentle demeanor and would be best suited in family with older children. After a day filled with activity, this gentle soul loves to have some quiet time to herself curling up with you for a short nap! Please come visit Petunia who has a disposition as pretty as her name! The Coronado Animal Care Facility, located at 1395 First Street, next to the Ferry Landing is open every day between 9:00 am and 4:00 pm (except holidays). If you are interested in adopting Petunia, you must first complete a dog adoption application and meet with a PAWS of Coronado Dog Adoption Counselor.
