Chihuahua - Pecos - Small - Adult - Male - Dog

　　This is Pecos and he is a 4 year old neutered 8 lb Chihuahua mix. Pecos was brought into Pima County Animal Control Center (PACC) as a stray. He was placed on the ?Rescue List? because, like most Chi?s, he is not very good with young children. This breed needs a more stable and calm environment to thrive in. Pecos has a pretty mellow disposition, LOVES to snuggle up and be around his people. He gets along well with the other dogs in his foster home. Pecos is still learning how to use the doggie door. He is housetrained and hasn?t had any accidents in his foster home. He only weighs 8 lb?s, so trying to push through a large double flapped doggie door has proven to be a bit difficult for this little guy. Pecos is not destructive and can be trusted to be left unattended in the house with no problem. He seems to have good basic manners. When he wants you to pay attention to him or pick him up, he will stand up on his back legs, cross his front paws and wave them up and down to get your attention. When he does this, you can?t help but smile ? He really brightens your day with his adorable personality. Pecos would do best in a home with older or no children. He is a huge LOVER so a home with someone that loves to snuggle, spoil and sleep with this little sweetheart would make him the happiest dog ever J.
