　　Let Nina bring a little spice to your house!

　　This teeny, tiny girl is Nina, a one to one and a half year old female Chihuahua/terrier mix. Nina is full grown and weighs only seven pounds. She has a smooth tan and white coat and a darling little nubby tail. She has the head and tail like a terrier and a thin small body like a Chihuahua. Yet she has both personalities!! She can be very shy and scared on first meeting -- shakes like a Chihuahua. But once she is comfortable, that terrier playfulness and energy kicks in!!

　　Nina was turned into our local animal shelter back in March. But she was so scared down there, she was sent to a foster home. Then they treated her for ringworm and then she was sort of forgotten and not promoted to the public. So we took her on to get the word out about this tiny tot.

　　Nina is ok with other dogs her size but she is fearful of much bigger dogs. She is fine with cats and good with kids BUT due to her small size she will NOT be adopted out to families with children under 16. Nina should be fine in an apartment but she will need exercising, she does have some energy! She MUST be on a leash if outside because she will take off and you will not be able to catch her. A fenced in yard will be required if in a house. Nina is really too high energy to make an older person a companion dog. But she does love to snuggle and be held -- a great lap dog for sure.

　　We are working on Nina's crate training. She is up to date on her vet care, spayed and is heartworm negative. She is on heartworm and flea/tick prevention. A lot of dog in a little package!
