　　Denny will brighten your whole day!

　　This shy, sweet little pup is Denny, a one to two year old male Chihuahua/rat terrier mix. Denny is very small, weighing only 9 pounds. He has a light brown, smooth coat with some white markings. Denny was pulled from our local animal shelter where he had been turned in as a stray. No one came to claim the little fellow after several weeks and he was very scared down there.

　　Denny is such a cute dog and is pretty calm and easy going. He is a bit shy and submissive on first meeting but ready to crawl up into your lap. We think Denny might do better in a calmer, rather quiet household without a lot of stress and hyper activity. That seems to scare and make him nervous. He would do fine in an apartment as long as he got some daily walks. Denny would be ok with children but older ones because of his size and nervousness. We are working on his crate training. Denny is up to date on his vet care, neutered and is heartworm negative. He is on heartworm and flea/tick prevention. Denny is ready to find a home where he will feel loved and comfortable to help him become a more confident dog.
