CHIEF's story
Chief was surrendered to the shelter due to the previous owners unable to provide care for him anymore. According to the previous owners Chief does well with children, dogs and cats. The previous owners also say that Chief is housebroken (whines, paces) and kennel trained. Chief can be somewhat alert and nervous meeting new strangers, but warms up quickly. Chief is an active young dog that will need lots of exercise in his new home, he would also benefit from obedience classes. Potential adopters should also bring in all members of the family for a mutual visit before adopting. Please research both Chow Chow''s and Akita''s as this breed of dog is not for everyone!
