My story

　　Chicky is a 1-2 year old Terrier Mix weighing about 10lbs.  Chicky was surrendered to one of our rescue partners in New Mexico with her 5 teeny tiny babies, when they were only 1 week old.  We knew the shelter was no place for a mom and her babies so we got them here to CO into a wonderful foster home.  Since then, all Chicky's puppies have found their forever families, and now it's her turn.  Chicky was a great Mom, and she took such wonderful care of her puppies, but now that she is puppy free she is really enjoying being a young pup herself. 

　　Chicky is as sweet as can be.  She still has a lot of puppy energy and loves to rough house with the other dogs in her foster home, and zoom around the backyard with them.  Chicky's favorite activity is squirrel watching.  Whether is be outside hanging out under a tree, or from a window inside, she could squirrel watch all day.  She loves spend time outside so we are going to require that her forever family has a yard for her to romp around in.  She would love to have a doggy sibling to play with as well.  During movie time or down time Chicky would love nothing more than to be front and center on her persons lap.  She also loves to snuggle in bed at night.  She is a love bug for sure.  She has the most amazing qualities and it's hard to think someone would give her up.
