One of the things I like the most about our rescue is that we go out into neighborhoods and businesses and help unwanted and stray kittens and cats.
One day I got a text message from a nice caring man who works for SoCal Edison tree trimming department, he was at a home trimming trees and found out that the man had passed away leaving behind a pregnant cat with no family or friends to care about the home or the animals. His pregnant cat gave birth to a litter of 5 or 6 kittens 6 months ago, all living in the yard. Neighbors have been feeding them and trying to spend time with them. Over the course of three nights we were able to get six of the cats, and one of the adults is already pregnant! There are a couple more to still get!
Meet one of the kittens, sweet gentle Chewy. He is mostly white with black markings and butterfly wings on his forehead and soft fur. He was scared and shy at first but quickly warmed up, seeking attention. He rubs his body and head into your hand and arms, purring, chirping, prancing and kneading his front paws. Loves to be petted and will snuggle into your lap. He is playful, likes the company of other cats and enjoys romping and chasing them around and up cat trees. To say Chewy loves wet food is an understatement!
He has excellent litter box habits.
Guessing his DOB to be around 6/2017.
